The Michigan City Post Office is a very friendly place with very friendly Clerks. Yes they may be short staffed, but what place isn't. Apparently no one goes to the grocery stores or Banks!
The web site now says open at 6am. I thought that was very early so I went at 8am. On the door it says "open at 10am." Very frustrating!
I must say, the workers are super friendly though. They cannot be blamed for this mistake.
I went during the lunch hour so there were only two windows open, so it was a little slow, but the clerk was friendly, competent and helpful. They have supplies for all my mailing needs and competitive shipping prices. This Post Office was bright, open, very clean and well maintained producing a positive visit.
You have a white heavy set lady that does the hospital and Buffalo street and if very friendly and she needs to be recognized for her excellent work. I don't now her name but she is always in a good mood even if she is tired. Thank you for having a very good carrier for our mail.
