My 5 year old enjoyed her meal and had an even better time feeding the fish and ducks, with provided cups of feed.
Not great for us. The food is definitely "bar food" quality at $9-$15 per meal. hoping for better quality at that price. Service very very slow, hour long wait to get a table, 30 min wait to get appetizer, 39 more minutes for meals. Hard to get refills. waitress seemed overworked and just plain over it. Thought the view would be cool but the scene from the deck is a vacant factory and small waterway. It might be better if we were boating. Bathrooms pretty gross. Just wasn't for us.
Had a delicious burger and fries. Would go again
It was difficult to concentrate on the conversation that I was having because a barking contest broke out midway through our meal. Not to mention we observed at least two servers rubbing and petting the various dogs before going into the kitchen and returning shortly after with plates of customers orders. Whether they washed their hands is a complete mystery. Overall, it felt unsafe, unsanitary, and unfair to patrons who prefer to enjoy a meal sans flying fur.
The staff was great. A very friendly, attentive waitress that had a great attitude. The food was good the fish "tacos" were very good although I would classify it as a wrap. My mother had a vegan wrap and it was great. The sweet potato fries were house made and the cinnamon dip for them was good. We had a bruchetta appetizer that was great as well.
This is definitely a one-of-a-kind place. A very cool atmosphere- you don't feel like you're in Indiana. We got to see the train come by. The service was great! The food was unique and I got the shrimp poor boy. The shrimp itself was very tasty- I just felt like the sandwich was lacking a bit of "oomph" and the bread was a bit hard to eat. I would definitely come back to give another food option a try!
Visited this establishment today for the second time as our first experience last season was wonderful. The atmosphere is relaxing and the hostess was especially warm and friendly. Our waitress, Maggie, was a delight and attentive to our every need. The biggest issue we had, which will keep us from returning, was that there were dogs, all breeds, all sizes, everywhere; and I do mean EVERYWHERE. While we are not adverse to animals, I think that it is a bit much to ask your patrons to dine with dogs. A restaurant is not an environment to be shared with animals...how inconsiderate of those of us who suffer with allergies.
More than pleasantly surprised by this place. From the outside it seemed a like a shack down a dead end road. A closer look revealed an inviting, clean outdoor grille that you would see beach side in a more tropical location. We were there later on a weeknight and got the last table outside.
Right on the water so you have great views. They have some duck feed so you can have fun while you wait. Smoking section is 21+
