Visited awhile back while on vacation. At the end of the day, I was hoping to relax in the TV room/parlor before bedtime, but the owner came in and sat down, imposing himself in a conversation. He managed to insult my lifestyle and religion in a matter of minutes. He also told me he had been into surveillance and had cameras all over their property and house. That made me very uncomfortable. Unable to pick up on social cues, I excused myself to bed. These places are not cheap. It isn't my obligation to visit with someone when I'm trying to unwind. The bed was uncomfortable, and when I said something about it, the owner's wife suggested another room. I checked that bed as well. It was also uncomfortable. She started parroting Goldilocks. I found this to be very unprofessional. When she asked what I was going to be doing for the rest of my vacation, I told her I hadn't decided yet. She said, "Well you better decide soon because time is slipping away."...or something to that effect. I thought it was none of her business. The whole bed and breakfast experience was completely ruined because of this couple.
A lovey place to stay and a great lady who looked after us and what a Breakfast to look forward to.
