The museum and Eastland Disaster Memorial are terrific, but the visit was spectacular thanks to President and historian, Jim Retseck.
The Old Lighthouse Museum had a wealth of historical displays and artifacts from the area. If you are new to the area or long time resident this is a most stop for everyone.

One of my favorite places to visit. I don't get to come here enough. Immaculately kept, this little gem of local history is kept alive for our enjoyment and education. Filled with local donations and pieces of history, this place will not disappoint.
Well done! We are avid lighthouse visitors and we just adored this one. The museum is a nice blend of maritime and local history. Very interesting local baseball exhibit. Friendly staff and the tour books are a nice touch. Great history there!
