A great lunch spot... same $$ money you'd spend a taco Bell on a fantastic home made meal!
Our Mucho burritos were smaller than they have ever been too.
That being said, the food is still AMAZING. I highly recommend the nachos with chicken; a full size nacho easily feeds 4 for $11 with tax. Also, do yourself a favor and get a churro as well. They're to die for and you deserve it.
I’m just tired of paying nearly $30 dollars ($27+ for 2 Mucho burritos, rice, guacamole & chips) for something that just isn’t good when I order food over the phone. We’ll be eating elsewhere for awhile.
The prices seem to creep up (they tell me the price of avocados goes up for ex). If I want a price on the phone for my order I have to wait, it’s never courtesy to tell you, you have to ask.
Courtesy on the phone depends on who you talk to. One person sounds like they don’t care about anything and every person I talk to never says goodbye.
If you go in and sit down to eat it’s not bad but heaven forbid you call in an order and ask for any deviation off the menu. For example, hold the spicy sauce from my husbands burrito. So they withheld it from mine too. They can’t (or the cooks can’t) follow directions.
Starting to be very disappointed with this Mucho Mas location (I love the LaPorte one).
I never thought I'd find good vegetarian food outside the urban Midwest but boy was I wrong. This place has the best Mexican food I've tasted, hands down. I don't care if it's authentic or real Mexican, it's damn delicious and that's what counts for me! The tofu was amazing, the salsa - all 3 of them - were spicy and flavorful. My BBQ burrito was so full of flavor with a slight sweetness from the BBQ sauce. The 3 tacos - veggie, Mexican and Cali style - were top notch. The veggie taco didn't have the tofu and suffered as a result but the other 2 were awesome! This is the best tofu I've ever had other than what I make at home, the marinade was delicious. I pass through Michigan City on the way to Chicago from MI, I'm going to stop for lunch here every time!
While I'm a true fanatic of Mucho Mas as a whole, this location just isn't as good as the LaPorte location. I can't say exactly what it is that separates them, but from the service to the seating and time spent waiting I can't say I've had as good of an experience here.
Great authentic food. Great service. Expect a good meal here. Very fair pricing.
