I came in to get an Alignment on my Truck. After an hour or so, they tell me that I need new Tie-Rods ... I tell them that I will get a 2nd opinion and they charge me for the Alignment. I go to Sears to get a 2nd opinion and sure enough, I do need new Tie-Rods ... but here is the rub, I learned that it is impossible to properly Align a vehicle when new Tie-Rods are needed. With this information, I called two other Mechanic Shops in Michigan City and both of them said the exact same thing ... so, why was I charged for something that I did not receive???
