I had my first experience skydiving here. It was AMAZING! The team made me feel very comfortable and safe. The hanger was new and clean, the plane and all the equipment was organized and in great condition. I loved that the instructors took amazing videos and photos of the experience, and we received our videos and photos very quickly (about one hour after). If I skydive again in this area I will definitely come back here. It is a very well run enterprise and I would highly recommend them!
EDIT: changed to four stars because my mom had a wonderful time and was ready to go again right away. I still caution future spectators to go when the jumper goes.
Great experience for a great price! (We bought ours on Groupon) My instructor Jake was super chill, I got to sit on the floor of the plane next to the open door on the way up. I felt like I was in an action movie.
The instructors Tom and Eduardo were awesome. I loved the experience. The only thing I didn't like is that they don't honor the prices and they charged as if we were going to do jump out of 14,000ft, when in actuality we jumped out of 10,000ft. They refused to refund and claimed they don't guarantee the 14Kft ...yet they are willing to charge for it no problem. I would recommend it as it is cheaper than others , but be aware you may not get what you paid for. I hope they gave the difference on what they charged us and gave it to the instructors. There's also a grumpy guy in the desk with dark brown hair that doesn't seem to know what customer service is. Everyone else was very polite.
My sister's instructor Tom was very professional and helped her feel safe which helped her enjoy her first skydive. We will definitely be back!
Skydiving is an amazing experience, in and of itself. I felt much better about doing it with the amazing team that Skydive Windy City provided. Everyone on their team is very professional and experienced (1000+ jumps). The views after entering free fall are amazing and also make this location the place to go for your first, second, or how ever many skydive experiences. Thanks!
My 90 year old mother skydive today and according to instructions from skydive windy city, spectators can arrive 45 minutes after the divers get there to see them jump. We were told to be there at 845 and when we got there at the time told, she had already jumped and on the ground! If you have somebody jumping better go when they go or you'll miss the whole thing! The chances of my 90 year old mother doing this again are next to none.
