Great little gem in Michigan City right around the corner from the outlet mall. They boast a local menu with all grass fed beef and seasonal vegetables. You can actually taste the difference! The food is great, the service is hit or miss (which is why I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars). Overall, if you're looking for a place in Michigan City with good quality burgers, sandwiches and vegetarian options (They have great salads!) you should check this lace out! I hope they stay in business for a long, long time...I know I'll keep going there!
Our server Lauren was a great waitress, anticipating needs and consistently making our experience a great one! The model of the restaurant is a good one, depending on grass fed meats for their main dishes. I had the blue gill which was delightful. My wife normally hates fish, but she loved this fish! My wife had the macaroni and cheese which was very smokey, with Gouda cheese. The salads were great and they have a nice wine and beer list. There were lots of options for good food and this place even has specials even! It wasn't our favorite restaurant but we will likely return to try it with some friends. They don't have liquor yet, but they will soon...the license has been approved! Also the bathrooms are clean and both men and women's bathroom have changing tables!
Excellent food. Pork chop were great accompanied by bacon Brussels sptouts. Wait staff attentive and friendly. Prices reasonable. Two or three things we attempted to order were not available. Wine list a bit limited. Would definitely go again if opportunity presents itself.
I would give fiddleheads more stars if I could. Every time I have been there, the food has been nothing but amazing and the staff is super friendly. The atmosphere is fantastic. The style of the restaurant is very eye appealing and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely sad I didn’t find this hidden gem sooner. Would recommend to all of my friends and family
Amazing food!! My husband and I stumbled across it just this year and now it’s our go-to place in Michigan City. Highly recommend! It’s incredibly fresh. It will spoil you for other restaurants. We’ve had pork, chicken, beef, and veggie options, pretty much everything, at least once. Everything has been so tasty.
