For being the 23rd of Dec. And super busy,we were seated within 5 min.and our server was the best we ever had their. On top of that they have the best prices and food!
The food is always great at steak 'n shake. However, they could spend more time on the cleanliness of the place. The floors are sticky and the bathrooms are gross.
Jasmine was the best waitress ever! She was super kind and funny and gave my friend her lovely lemon water. Food is wonderful, cheese fries are amazing
I would avoid this place. Food wasn't prepared properly. For example I got a hard bun with my burger, I had them remake it and while the second one was a little bit better in that regard, it still just did not taste good. The waitresses were also condescending and they did not have fresh tea. I could go on and on. Such a disgraceful place especially considering its proximity to I-94.
Won't be going back to this ptomaine palace. My wife ordered HOT tea. They brought tea without ice. We both ordered chili. I ordered a bowl and received a cup. The chili was warm, not hot. My burger was served room temperature also. I ordered a malt and got a shake. Both of us had upset stomachs and broke into a sweat 30 minutes down the road when we left. 1 star is being kind.
